UVU — parking for the September 10, 2025 event: one email chain on three reserved stalls released; no parking passes found (request #26-253)
What we asked for: for the September 10, 2025 Turning Point USA event at UVU, (1) any parking passes, vehicle placards, or parking credentials issued for the event, and (2) the lot-assignment or reserved-parking records showing which vehicles were allowed to park where — by organization, not by attendee. No attendee lists or student records.
What we got: one email chain, two pages. For part (1), UVU says a reasonable search found no records. For part (2), UVU released an August 25–27, 2025 email exchange, forwarded again on March 19, 2026. In it, UVU Parking offers three reserved stalls in lot L-1 (the employee lot southwest of the Browning Administration Building) for Wednesday, September 10, at a cost of $30.00, and then confirms: “We'll have the three stalls coned off in L1 on 9/10/2025.” The billing index number was supplied. Names, email addresses, and the billing index are blacked out by UVU under § 63G-2-305(11) and (12) (information whose release could endanger a person's safety, or the security of university property or systems).
